Writing News

I finally started writing my short story! It is amazing how painful it is just to get going. I kept trying to do more research and just staring at the blank screen and stuff until finally I got started. If it sucks, I can always fix it later. At least if I get something down on “paper” then I’ll have something to work with. There will be something tangible that I can fix. And you know what? I got an entire page down…and it wasn’t terrible. Needs work, but that I can handle. It just feels so good to get the process started. Now all I’ve got to do is get it done and polished in time for the writer’s conference in May. Ugh!
