Reading Tai-Bo

This week I read a YA werewolf romance called “Shiver” by Maggie Stiefvater. I absolutely loved it. Now to give you perspective though, my lovely sister read it before me though and thought that it was derivative and slight. And it certainly could have been. Two of the werewolves had the same names as werewolves from the Twilight books, and the plot was exactly what you would expect a werewolf romance to be. Girl meets boy, Girl meets wolf. Falls in love with both, struggle to stay human… Now there were a few things that I had against it. The hero’s parents were creepy awful, and just to warn you this is a non-christian book featuring non-christian 17-year-olds who on occasion act accordingly. But I won’t even pretend. I absolutely loved this book. I might even buy it for my Nook someday. Silly, romantic, fluffy, and apparently just right for me. Ooooh, and the cover is absolutely awesome.
