The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

This week saw the last day of school and the arrival of the cousins. The cousins came bearing gifts of goats and chicks. Well, actually the chicks were the only gifts. Three of them have been set aside for each of the boys, although they will stay with the cousins. But even though they were not gifts, the five goats that rode 6 hours in the van to our house brought the marvelous gift of goats milk. Goats milk that Sweet Boy#2 can actually drink. Yay for goats. Sweet Boy#1 even got permission to bring 2 of the chickens to school on the last day. They sat on his head and let his classmates pet them. A wonderful start to our summer, all in all.
