My marvelous niece came to visit us for two days and one night this week! She is 13 and well versed in the use of youtube. So I learned a few things and it was so much fun having her. She chased the boys all over the park at Lake Chelan, the boys “swam” out into the deep water in their life vests (first time for sweet boy #2), and sweet boy #1 rode a half sunken log back and forth along the dock many many times. They were so thrilled that we got to “Bring her home” this time as usually we have to drop her off after we have worn her to a frazzle. We ate slushies in the car (bad idea) and drove with the windows down on a hot summer night all the way home. Exhausting but perfect as well.
