Writing News
This week I finished an online writing course by Sally Apokedak, a literary agent whom I met at a writer’s conference last year. She had several review copies of her Udemy class (Narrative Voice: Suck in Readers from Page One) and I jumped at the chance to receive one. I knew from my experience at the Northwest Christian Writer’s Renewal that I enjoyed her teaching style and that there would be good content in the course. It took quite a bit of time, but it was a welcome break from revising my Mexico story and a great chance to refresh my skills and learn something new. So, I may not have written very much this week, but a writer is not made on writing alone. Sometimes she must stop and take the time to learn. That is what I did this week.
