Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

The big boys were pretending that they were spiders. Their names were “Crab Bird” and “Poisonous Train Spider.”

The big boys informed me that they had “Cabin Babies” at their imaginary cabins and that their names were: “Nice Baby” and “Bunny Copper.”

I was driving the three boys to a play date at the park and was politely informed by sweet boy #1 that: “Daddy drives faster on this road than you, because Daddy knows better.” Hmmmm.

But the winner this week… I was looking and looking for my little stub of a watch that I always tote around so that we don’t accidentally miss naptime or lunch or something while we’re playing outside in the dirt/gravel/sand/mud/grasshoppers. It was lost and I was heartbroken, that is until I changed sweet boy #3’s diaper before nap. Yep, there safely tucked into the recesses of his leak protection garment was my watch. Yeah!

Kristen

I promise you a crazed animal, a concussion, and a kiss in every single book...you're welcome!

I love it. What would possess the boy to tuck your watch in his “leak protection garment?!” I love the name for the diaper also! Am very excited that you all are coming to my house to play for a few days.

    Love to you.
