The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
Sweet Boy#2 and Sweet Boy#3–I caught them both using their pancake syrup as hand lotion.
Sweet Boy#3–Figures out how to shoot a marble out of his pop gun.
Sweet Boy#3–I have to remind him to empty the dirt out of his pockets before he can start “Screen time” with his brothers.
Sweet Boy#3–I helped him stagger to the bathroom in the middle of the night and he accidentally peed on my foot, and a good portion of the floor.
Sweet Boy#3–I got my cardio for the day sword fighting with my youngest. But I had to make the sound effects for both of us when we needed to regenerate limbs because Sweet Boy#3 can’t roll his R’s yet.
But the winner this week…
It was Sweet Boy#1’s Daddy Day. They grabbed a fishing pole and some worms and hiked up to Hidden Lake. He learned how to cast as far as Daddy and fished until he got too cold. Then they hiked out and went to Starbucks for a Strawberries and cream and a game of “Smash Up”.
The road was closed and they had to hike an extra mile just to get to the trail head, he didn’t catch any fish, and he lost to his Daddy playing “Smash-up”, but when The Hunky Hubby asked him how his day went he said: “It was AWWWWWWSOME!!!”
