Yeah…obviously the big news this week was when my folks found out that my Papa had a cancerous brain tumor. The Hunky Hubby stepped up to bat and took the three cyclones and I left Wednesday morning to be with my parents. On Thursday The Hunky Hubbby rushed himself and the three boys over for a quick talk with Papa because no one was certain whether he would be able to speak after the surgery. The tumor was in his speach center. On Friday he had brain surgery and the tumor was removed. He woke up that evening and was able to talk! They kept him in ICU for swelling at the surgery site and his speach was great on Saturday, but began to become garbled Saturday evening and Sunday. Sunday afternoon I drove home to be with my three beautiful boys and my Hubby. Pray for my Papa, that the swelling will go down and that his speach will go back to being so clear. Thank you all for your prayers and love. In stuff like this we just have to rest in God’s hands. He loves us and we cling to that and to Him. It is the only option, but still…so hard.
