The Cousins Have Arrived!

Ah, the cousins. My brother and lovely sister’s kids are stair-stepped with ours. Their girl, sweet boy #1, their “Thomas”, sweet boy #2, their “Mr. Steel”, and finally our fierce sweet boy #3. The oldest of the six is almost seven and the youngest is just two. Makes for glorious times.

Well they arrived for a lengthy stay this week and so every day after school it is a mad rush outside to meet the cousins in the snow, build snow caves, go sledding, jump off the porch and wander around barefoot when their boots are plunged deep into a drift and explain to their mother that “My cousin told me to jump”. That sort of thing. We are blessed beyond measure that we have cousins at such a perfect age that are also on the high end of the “Activity” spectrum. Lots of action this week and we’re loving it.
