I have officially given birth to a geek. No not recently. Nearly six years ago. But what can you expect when his father is a contributing member to the site “www.boardgamegeek.com”. Our neighbor and her kids came up for a play date and sweet boy #1 and I were just finishing up some reading for school. It was one of those rare days in Language Arts where he gets to pick the reading material, and what does he pick…Astronomy! After our reading he regaled our guests with a discourse on the atmosphere of Venus vs. the atmosphere of Mercury and why their differences causes Venus to be the hottest planet even though Mercury is closer. All this time he was leaping about the house in pure unadulterated joyfulness, eyes bright, face animated. Totally in love with Astronomy. He has officially become the cutest, sweetest, most likely to pretend he is a poisonous raccoon, little geek on our continent. Gotta love him.
