Writing News
This week I wrote seven more chapters in my current W.I.P. (work in progress) Spider Gap. That puts me at chapter 27 with only one more chapter and an epilogue to go before the end. I surpassed my word goal of 30,000 words for the month. When I revise in April, I will bring the manuscript up to the 40,000 to 45,000 word requirement. The story is very rough right now, but I have the main action down. Once I add more of the beautiful scenery details from this hike and really concentrate on the character’s inner journey then the word count is going to skyrocket fast. I’ll probably struggle to keep the story small enough.
