Well, I did it! I finished November with 50,455 words which completed the rough draft of a middle grade adventure. When I first started writing, I couldn’t imagine finishing 50,000 words in a month. To have done that twice is such a big deal for me, I am very happy.

This week was mostly spent getting ready for my facebook book launch party for The Volk Advent. It takes more time than you think to write up all of those interesting facts about castles and wolves and Siberia along with pictures. But I got it done and we had a great time. Thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate with me! The Hunky Hubby and the boys celebrated my book release with me by eating pizza together and watching “Earnest Saves Christmas” which was super fun. Next week…revision #8 on my first middle grade manuscript! I suspect it will take the entirety of December not just a week.
