This week I started writing the rough draft of a Christmas novella idea. I’m 7,000 words in and wrote chapters 1-5. These chapters included The Opening Image, The Theme Stated, The Inciting Incident, and The First Plot Point. I got to introduce my character and cause some initial trouble for her and then make everything go crazy. Fun stuff. A good week writing.
