This week I pruned and polished my one sheet for the romance novella. My story description felt bulky and awkward. But I like it much better now. I was showing my sister how to make a one sheet for the conference, so I wrote a very silly one that was utterly ridiculous about her book as an example. She threatened to hand it to the editor instead of the serious one sheet that she is supposed to write. It may not get her a book contract, but it sue was entertaining to write and read. I also did some research into ancient Israel for my next writing idea and bought a beautiful fair trade beaded necklace from Guatemala to wear at the conference.
