Writing News
This week I worked on adding a few words to chapter 5,6,7,8, and 9 of Daughter of the Decoy King. This resulted in 620 new words in the story and a wonderful new idea about making some characters related to one another to explain a vengeful plot. But there actually was a huge writing event this week! At least huge for me. No, not the release of Ally Carter’s Uncommon Criminals although to have the book appear on my Nook after having pre-ordered it last month was truly a thrill. No, I have been asked to become a regular contributor to the blog: Faith, Friends, and Frappuccinos written by three hopeful writers (one of whom is my marvelous new critique partner Crystal) who met at a Christian writer’s conference. They want me to blog on Thursdays! So look at that, actual not-just-a-word-count news. As Meg Cabot’s characters would say: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Wow, I feel girlie now.
WAHOO!!! What great news.
Love to you.
