The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Sweet Boy #1 broke open a bag of cement mix and emptied it into a flower bed.

Sweet Boy #2 smoothed about a full cup of margarine into Sweet Boy #3’s hair and then Sweet Boy #3 rubbed his head across their bedroom carpet.

And I have finally broken down and sent our cobalt blue decorative kitchen canisters on to a better life in a kid free home. After the boys emptied an entire canister of cornmeal and spooned about two cups of brown sugar onto the carpet…again.

Life here is thrilling as always.

ARGGG! Life with the Cyclones is full of fun, surprises and sometimes messes.

    Any fun ‘cousin’ stories?

    Much love to you.

Maybe you just need to get hunky hubby working on retrofitting a locking gun cabinet or something into a new spice rack… 😉 Perhaps a bank vault for a pantry? Bonus to that- it’s big enough to lock yourself into for a few minutes to regain your sanity. Not that I ever feel I need an escape for perspective… 🙂

I bank vault is a great idea, I wonder if it would look better hanging in the kitchen with the fruit basket or in the living room next to our photo albums and “Thomas” DVDs?
