The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
Several adventures this week…
When you get up at 4:15am on Thanksgiving morning to write before all the craziness and celebration begins and you discover that your 3 sons have torn a part and lost the pieces of your favorite writing chair in order to make a maze.
You get a chance to take a nice bath. But when you finally come out of the bath you witness a strange phenomenon. Instead of putting them in bed The Hunky Hubby has encouraged them to play just a little bit longer. And what game do they invent? Well, first the boys construct a maze in the living room out of random living room items, then they blindfold one of their brothers, then that brother is expected to crawl through the maze blindfolded looking for a large fresh pineapple that has been hidden inside a shoe box! Really, these boys are brilliant are they not.
