The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
We went backpacking this week. Eight adults, nine children between the ages of 5 and 10, and two doggies. It was harrowing and heartwarming all wrapped up together. We hiked a total of 18 miles together and much of that was with packs on our backs. But I’ll quit now because a picture is worth a thousand words after all.
First of all, WHY did you go back to the land of 1,000 mosquitoes??? Secondly, I have a photo of myself on that exact sunken log… amazed it’s still there!
I know, we were crazy. But Greg really really wanted to go and convinced us. That log should have decomposed right?
