Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Mystery Boy–Puts some sort of liquid into our CD player. Not sure if it was water or pee, really really hoping it was water.

Sweet Boy#3–I find the Hunky Hubby’s genuine horse hair drafting brush (for tidying architectural drawings) sunken into a jar of organic peanut butter.

Sweet Boy#1–Is patting and loving on Shamu our dog, making sure that he has treats and hugs. “I want to take care of him with Daddy gone.”

Sweet Boy#2–Pretends that a bunch of cans from the cupboard are bullies and that he is a container of syrup that is beating them up.
Momma–“Are you rescuing people from the bullies?”
Sweet Boy#2–“No, I’m just bashing the bullies heads together.”

I notice a suspicious red footprint on the carpet. I look closer and see that there is an entire trail of red footprints leading in a circle around the living room, into the kitchen, and into the dinning room where there is a large puddle of red food coloring under the table. All I had to do was look at the bottoms of his feet to catch Sweet Boy#2 red footed.

Sweet Boy #3–Watches his older brother crying because I had said it was Sweet Boy#3’s turn to dip the teabag first. And my little sweetie gives his brother the teabag and tells him that he can dip first.

I promise you a crazed animal, a concussion, and a kiss in every single book...you're welcome!

Yes, what a sweetie! What a lot of action and busyness goes on at your house! It’s always fun to read about it.

    Love to you.
