Reading Tai-Bo

This week I read a very strange but well written YA about a girl who is supposed to get stung by a scary guy made out of balloons and turned into a goddess that eats the whole world. There are cockroaches that are waiters and a lodge that is eaten by a giant fish and a hero who is trying to grow an “unfortunate mustache”. It was really good but felt like a Monty Python movie in book form.

Then I re-read my favorite emmotional based “Alien Body Snatchers” book and realized what an incredible book it really was. Very well done, it left me chomping at the bit to read “just one more page” the entire time I was working on it.
