Reading Tai-Bo
This week I read Full Disclosure by Dee Henderson. What I love about her books are all of the fun details about the different high risk jobs that her characters always have. This time it was an FBI agent and the Midwest Homicide Investigator or MHI. So interesting. I had a great time learning all about what the MHI does and what that job entails. The emotional journey in the book does get kind of silly at times and so if you are not a romance die hard, be prepared for lots of internal angst. And my marriage will never be the same since I read a passage out loud to my husband wherein the hardened FBI agent is amazed that the protagonist writes such “special books”. If I get famous someday and am a multi-published award winning author, when they interview my Hubby he is sure to tell them how I write “special books”, and I will be the only one who knows that it is a joke and not a compliment. But yep, enjoyed the book, but be prepared for some longwinded emmotional fluff.
