Reading Tai-Bo
This week I finished the new Detective Wizard book and couldn’t help myself and ended up going back and re-reading one of the old ones. What did I learn from reading this week? That there is something terribly powerful about seeing a character make the hard choice. When someone must die to save others and that someone ends up being you. And the character hurts and grieves and doubts, but makes the sacrifice anyway. Because they love, and because God has given them a choice with their lives and they choose to do the hard thing. It gives us just a hint of God, to see a character do that. For the human spirit is drawn to that kind of sacrifice.
It’s Frappaccino Thursday.
