This week I looked at the first five chapters that I revised last week as a whole and made sure that all my major plot-lines were accounted for and my heroine was falling in love appropriately and my annoying characters were being annoying in the proper places at the proper times…. Then I revised chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9. I put in specific tree names from the guidebooks to the Yucatan that I had purchased, I cut some gushy preachy dialogue, and made sure that my character descriptions matched those painstaking character sketches that I did a few months ago. All in all a good week.
