This week I finished up Rough Draft #4 by completing word searches for:

Now.

My manuscript now stands at 86,128 words and 306 pages. Not sure how the word count went up and the page count went down? But at least that revision is over. Now I’m doing the last revision that I need before I seek the assistance of some beta readers. I’m revising the whole thing in “clips” according to “Writing Fiction for Dummies”. I will make sure that each paragraph is either internal or external and doesn’t mix its focus and then I will make sure that each paragraph or clip follows the natural sequence of order in all action scenes. Fastest things (like emotions and instinctual actions) first followed by slower things (sluggish movements and thought out actions). So far I’m seven pages into the manuscript on this revision. I’ve got a ways to go, but it feels great to get all of the silly (but helpful) word searches out of the way.
