Writing News
Well I finally finished writing exercise #5 “Heightening larger than life character traits” from the writing the breakout novel workbook. That was a relief. I was supposed to heighten 24 different moments for my protagonist but as you know I, of course, freaked out and heightened something out of each chapter so I guess that would be about 40 heightened moments. So now everyone can consider my manuscript properly heightened! I also moved all of my files off of Dietrich my beloved six-year-old lap top who has been freezing up every time I use Microsoft word. Apparently whereas 6 is not old in children or even cats, it is pretty old for a computer and the universal advice is that I completely re-format him and send him to the happy hunting ground of computers…you guessed it, games only use by the hunky hubby. Yes yes, the hunky hubby already has an office computer but he can’t play games in bed, (sob sob) and often there will be 5 or 6 guys loitering around our house at wee hours in the morning wishing to connect all of their computers together and play Age of Mythology or Age of Empires or Age of the Frantic Goat men of Morthia. OK I might of made one of those up but you get the picture. Dietrich has erased my heightened character moments about three times to many times and now the hunky hubby has gotten his paws on him. Sigh…I need a new computer.
