Writing News
This week I put my computer aside and worked mostly with a pen and paper and writing books. I went through the character exercises in “Writing The Breakout Novel Workbook” and wrote down tons of ideas for deepening the character development in my Pure Amore story Spider Gap. I also interviewed “Ranger Halt” our Spring Break Survival Camp speaker about possible camping injuries I could add to complicate my heroine’s life. I have the basic plot down and lots of fun action with a 33,000 word rough draft. But now I need to go back and give the story some heart and soul and get the word count up to the 40,000 to 45,000 word range that is a requirement for writing a Pure Amore title.
