Writing News
This week I started speed writing my middle grade manuscript. I wrote 11 chapters and got through the opening image, the theme stated, the debate and choice of whether to accept the quest, and I’m in the fun and games. Which with my story means building monster traps! Do your ten-year-olds build cool traps and boats and forts? Mine do, so I’m excited to put this into a book…although in the book some of them will have to actually catch things…hmmm. My word count says I have 15,805 words, although a few of those are chapter titles and the author info at the top. So, a crazy and good week. I’m just writing the words fast, not worrying about if they are any good yet.
