Writing News
This week I critiqued a chapter for Jenn, revised the chapter that she critiqued for me, wrote two magazine articles, had one article rejected, and had a teeny tiny 150 word devotional accepted for publication by Thriving Family! And so for the very first time, since I started trying to get published 12 years ago, I have sent in my w-9 to a publishing establishment…because they are going to pay me! This has been a good week writing wise, although I am missing my boys very very much as they are all away at school for the first time ever. It’s only for 2 days a week though, I’ll have one year to get used to the whole idea. My youngest is in kindergarten for three days, but I get to volunteer in their classes for one of them. Man, times have a way of changing don’t they.
