The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
Hmmmmm… several things.
Sweet boy #1 pooping in his undies and on the floor because he was too busy playing trains to walk the two feet into our perfectly functional bathroom. Not sure how to be firm but not harsh about that one.
Sweet boy #2 smearing half a tub of the hunky hubbies “Surf Hair” onto his head to make himself “pretty” and then trying to wash some of it out before I caught him and only making a bigger mess.
Sweet boy #1 on first major sugar high after Grandpa Dave gave him some M & Ms. Standing up on trike, saying “Ta Da!” and then leaping blindly off trike in the general direction of the couch where I was quietly reading a bedtime story to the other boys. I quickly paused in my reading to catch the little body that was hurling through space, before taking up the book again. This happened not once or twice but about twenty times.
The Winner this week.
Sweet boy #1 running through the sprinkler while holding scissors incorrectly. Need I say more?
