The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
I put most of my old pictures into albums, but the doubles of pictures of the boys, I just couldn’t throw them away. So I’ve been using them as bookmarks for several years. Well now the boys have started using these pictures as book marks as well. The school librarian laughed and told me that she has been finding pictures of our boys all over the school grounds. Sweet Boy#3 has been reading during recess and leaving a trail of pictures behind him.
Sweet Boy#2 pulled an awesome prank on one of his brothers. After the brother got out of the bath tub, Sweet Boy#2 snuck in and put a few drops of food coloring into the water. Everyone thought it was some amazing chemical reaction having to do with Epsom salts and basil scented bath soap…until we found the food coloring bottle!
And finally, The Hunky Hubby did not want chickens. But we were given chicks and the boys love their pet hens so much that we have come to enjoy them as well. When I drove up to the house with the boys after school on Thursday I saw that the chickens were out of the yard. The Hunky Hubby was doing office work on the porch and had let the chickens out to enjoy the sunshine. And this was the man who didn’t want chickens. Look at him now.
