The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
You remember those tear-jerker songs about Daddies dancing with their adorable little girls. Makes me cry every time. But Moms of little boys have their own priceless moments. Here was mine this week…
Listening to a Switchfoot CD with my 3 boys and dancing together to some awesome tunes. The older two boys are dancing like chickens and the youngest is wildly wielding a Nerf Ax like that River Dance guy gone amok. Then when a new song “The War Inside” comes on they start leaping over laundry baskets and doing tricks like dancing chicken snowboarder Vikings of death. The best part…they wanted their Momma to dance with them…like a chicken…or a Viking snowboarder of death. Love those little boys!
