The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
Sweet Boy#1 and Sweet Boy#3–Have a terrible fight with crying and throwing things at one another and hurt feelings in abundance. Then after 30 minutes of heartbreak Sweet Boy#1 gives me a giant dirt clod to take over to his brother as a peace offering…which I accidentally toss and break! And so he finds a second even better dirt clod which I very carefully take over to his little brother. Sweet Boy#3 cuddles the dirt clod close for several minutes and then arises from his place of sorrow (in the rock pile) forgives his brother and they play happily for a goodly amount of time. If only the world knew about the amazing powers of a dirt clod given in love…I mean maybe it would work in the Gaza strip?
Sweet Boy#2–Gets riled up wrestling with The Hunky Hubby and Shamu and in a fit of insanity he runs over and squeezes sparkle glue onto our big hairy dog.
Sweet Boy#3–Accidentally gets his slice of peanut butter bread stuck to his bare chest during lunch.

yeah, So it was a pretty typical week eh. Same here too.
I guess it could be a blessing from God that a “typical” week for us is so entertaining.
