The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Boy…let’s see.

Sweet Boy#2–Forgets to get off the bus at his school, despite the fact that his brother taps him on the shoulder and say’s “It’s time to get off” and ends up riding all the way to the older grade school, where he notices the change in scenery, tells the bus driver, and has to be driven back to his school a second time.

Sweet Boy#1–Comes out of his room well after bedtime an announces: “Momma, I’ve got a washer stuck in my nose.” I try to get it out with tweezers to no avail but eventually we get him to sneeze it out.

Sweet Boy#3–Cries furiously because he didn’t want sugar on his oatmeal and I accidentally put it on…then has an impressive tantrum when his brother snitches a lump of that same despised sugar from the top of his bowl.

Sweet Boy#3–Gets a bunch of sticky tac stuck in his hair.

Sweet Boy#2–Brings a penny home from school and tells me that he is going to use it to take me to the zoo for my birthday!
