This week I finished this really exciting fairy book that turned out to actually be fairy horror. I didn’t realize this until the ending. You know how a thriller will be terrible and exciting but have a good ending, but a horror has that sickening, gut clenching, hopeless ending where they “almost” make it? Well it was the ending that made me realize that I had been reading a horror. Ugh, I hate bad endings. But then I zoomed through Danger in the Shadows by Dee Henderson. An old favorite that I just bought on my nook. It is a prequel to the O’Malley series and just a good fun romance. Sure it was silly in some places, but no ones newborn baby was stolen by the fairies on the last page either. Phew!
