Reading Tai-Bo

This week I used my super secret spy skills to obtain a new library book before anyone else. There were three books that I have been awaiting with baited breath. All of them belong to various series that I am in the middle of. Well…since the waiting list for new books is always months long I devised an evil scheme. I went to the library website before the books came out, dum dum dum duuuuuum, and I filled out a purchase request for each book! I knew that the Library would be buying these books, I mean they already have all of the others in the series. But by requesting their purchase I Kristen Joy Wilks was first on the waiting list! You can’t request a book until it has been purchased but I bypassed all of that with my brilliance.

And it worked smashingly. This week I received two bran spanking new novels and I read one of them. The final installment in a YA fantasy featurning cyclops, pegasi, dislexia plagued demi-gods, a swimming cow, and last but not least the illustrious line “Zeus’s royal nostrals flared”. Truly you can’t get any better than that. I sped through the book, it was glorious.
