Reading Tai-Bo

This week I finished Outcasts and Invaders by John Flanagan. These books are the first and second instalment of his newest series The BrotherBand Chronicles. It took me about a hundred pages to get into the first book, but once I did, I absolutely fell in love with these books. I enjoyed all of the fascinating characters, compelling plot, and interesting sailing facts. But especially the characters. No one feels like a minor part of the story, as a reader I am worried about every single one when they go into battle, I need them all to survive. I got the first book from the library, but couldn’t wait for the second book and so I had to buy it! So so good, I’m even re-reading bits of both books right now just because I loved them so much and couldn’t quite move on to a different book.
