God This Week

Well, we don’t have a new puppy.

I was praying for one. The breeder I like had one available, for like a day, but found a home for him right away. He was a brown male Newfy, with the temperament for therapy work. Just exactly what we wanted. And now he belongs to someone else. But I had talked to the Hunky Hubby about it and he for sure wants a puppy over the summer, so that we can socialize him/her at camp with campers. So, this time I guess God is protecting The Hunky Hubby’s interests and teaching me to let go of mine. Sometimes, God says no. It is rough, but best I suppose. He has something in mind for us, something good.

But God also said “Yes” this week. He said “Yes” to my prayers for snow. We got 3 inches earlier in the week and four fresh inches last night. It is still snowing. God is good and He is faithful, even in the little things like puppies and snow.
