Sweet boy #2 celebrated his 4th birthday this week! He has been so so excited. We looked at bettycrocker.com together and picked out a cake. I have never made a themed cake before but with the help of the instructional video our dinosaur was fashionable and tasty. I felt like I was carving up a turkey or something though as different cousins would shout out things like “I want a piece of the tail.” “I want his head” or “Give me a chunk of his tummy” Perhaps I have a future as a butcher ahead of me? There were several tear storms but way more giggling fits, horn honking, and happy roaring. We gave him a bike. He has been coveting one for a long time. And of course new undies, which when you are 4 and they have Lightning McQueen on them, are one of the best gifts ever. Thank God for little boys.
