The Hunky Hubby and my three little boys made me breakfast on Mother’s Day. I made provisions for this the day before by purchasing a box of danishes. But they went above and beyond. Sweet boy #1 wrote out a mother’s day card for me and sweet boys #2 and #3 colored on it. They sliced some cantaloupe to accompany my danish and made me coffee with lots of creamer. Then they all danced around the bedroom like sweet little madmen and enthusiastically watched me eat. “Try that momma!” “Drink some of that!” “I picked your doughnut Momma!” “Do you like it? Do you like it? Do you like it?” And finally a book and some reading time from the Hunky Hubby made for a glorious mother’s day indeed.
It sounds glorious! Mother’s Day is so special when you have kids who make you feel loved and wanted. We both have that kind of children, gifts from God for sure!
