Writing News

I met my goal this week! Four short devotionals written and blogging (hopefully). I have to tell you that 4:00am was more often 4:30 or 4:45 but even the little bit of extra time seemed to help and I got it done. Not sure that my musings on scripture will be even remotely profound, but one has to write something, and so I will continue, profound or no.

We are leaving this week for our summer “Adventure” or as some who do not have 3 small children might say “Vacation”. The Hunky Hubby works 7 days a week over the summer, so vacation happens in the fall for us, and the time has finally come. We will be catching a train for all of Monday and then camping in the Redwood national park for the rest of the week! We even bought a child’s botany book to take! Yeah plants! I won’t be writing all this week, but the Hunky Hubby is bringing my laptop so that he can play computer games at night in our tent to escape the quiet and majesty of nature. I brought my Nook and plan to read! The boys have been admiring the redwoods on nature shows and are terribly excited. Adventure cometh neigh!
