Writing News
This week was not as productive as normal due to the whole kidney stone fiasco. But I did get a small amount of blogging and writing done. I hope my words were not overly creative as I was on some serious pain medication all week. A good reason to look back and revise. I did write a short piece that I hope to submit to a magazine editor at our annual writer’s conference. I sent off my current ms. to my critique partner who said she would take a peek at it while I was feeling under the weather. I also revisited the opening chapters of a very old YA ms. that I want to pitch to an editor at the conference. Now that I am back on my feet, I’m hoping I can get everything ready for the pitch sessions at the conference and then dash off to The Northwest Christian Writer’s Renewal for a weekend of writerly fun with my lovely sister, sans kidney stones!
