Writing News
This week was great. It is amazing how productive you can be after seven slow slow months of research and outlining. Of course this is just the rough draft and I know after last time that this is just the beginning. It took me 5 months to write the rough draft of Overturned. And four long years to revise it.
But I am desperately hoping that all of this delightful outlining will make the revision process less painful and lengthy.
This week in the hopes of an at home date with the hunky hubby, I switched my day off from Sunday to Monday and wrote a chapter on Saturday instead of blogging with the intention of blogging on Sunday morning. So due to the crazy schedule I completed ch. 13, ch. 14, ch. 15, ch. 16, ch. 17, and ch. 18 this week. Although next week should prove less impressive due to the switcheroo.
During this work week I officially wrote about: mall evangelism, the use of scripture verses in snack items, irate cabbies, Mexican jails, boys who wear earrings shaped like tropical birds, things that are lost in translation, CPR, and the birth places of prominent drug lords. Hmmmm…I may have a lot to revise…
Did you get to have the date with the Hunky Hubby? Hope so. I’m interested in the things that were lost in translation. That always makes for interesting situations.
Love to you.
As long as you don’t give up, you’ll get there.
Thanks So much for the encouragement. I peeked over at your website and the cover of your upcoming novel looks awesome! God’s blessings as you write.
