Writing News
This week I wrote chapters 12-20 of that middle grade manuscript. That put my word count at 25,831 words. I got through the chapters that included, Fun and Games, The First Pinch Point, The Midpoint, and The Second Pinch Point (called “Bad Guys Close In” in the “Save the Cat” 15 point outline). I’m just getting the words down. The hard work will come later as I stop and try to make this story good. But I’m enjoying the freedom of writing fast and fun.
