This week I worked on getting a five page contest entry ready. Who would have known that just five pages can cause so much trouble. But I did get to work with someone I met at the conference for the first time and that was fun and helpful. Ok, so seeing all of the terrible mistakes that she found was not fun. But it was fun to work together with another YA writer and very helpful to get another set of eyes looking at my story. It’s hard to find someone else who writes Christian YA and is at approximately the same stage that you are who wants a critique partner. An amazing blessing for sure.
