The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

I hear the boys singing in the dinning room. I look in and see them and one of our camp cook’s grandsons sitting on top of the table playing Legos. They are building things and adopting Disney songs to a video game theme. “Let it load, let it load…the internet never bothered me anyway!”

But the winner this week…

I gave the boys Foodles to eat with their lunch. They took the little cheese, apple, pretzel packages down to the sports court. Somehow one of them spilled his foodle, and then they used the scattered food as targets while they were rollerblading (you know, oh look an apple to smash, and a cheese cube, and a pretzel, boom, splat, crunch, yay!) and then an impromptu food fight commenced. Much forced cleaning occurred when I discovered them.
