The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
This was a week for practical jokes.
Sweet Boy#1–Hid our car keys and didn’t toss them into the front of the car with an impish smile (losing them amidst the rubble in my seat) until after the Hunky Hubby had run all over the place grumbling and panicking and late.
Sweet Boy#2–Wedges a pumpkin behind the front tire of our car while we are not looking.
Also, Sweet Boy#1 informed us that he uses “the force” to make his teacher draw his popsicle stick from the dish for special jobs. It has worked twice apparently and once for his friend as well.
I went to check on the boys…I found them on the roof of the huge camp woodshed. Apparently they had climbed a small tree, climbed on top of the “tin can” an old railroad car used for storage, and gotten on top of the woodshed. They then built a ramp and hauled lumber on top of the roof where they were busy constructing a boat.
