Writing Pilates
For this week’s writing assignment: Have your character take a vacation. If you have any desire to participate let me know and I’ll link to you. Like my lovely sister who is probably tearing up her garden and schooling her children instead.
Have Your Character Take a Vacation
Bosomella shook her head as she observed Miss Borka’s less than gracious response to her overture of peace. She called her fluffy minions to herself, lept upon the back of the largest squirrel and directed them out into the castle wood. She had one mile to roam from her stubborn mistress and Bosomella decided to use it well. They were going on vacation. She and the squirrels would sing tree nut songs late into the night over the small flickering of a leaf fire. They would roast nuts and acorns and nibble the delicacies of the wood to their hearts desire while Miss Borka stewed. If she wanted them, too bad. They were on vacation. A well earned lifting of the tyrannies of life.
