Writing News
This week I critiqued several chapters of a really fun YA manuscript for my critique partner, Jenn. I sent three chapters of my middle grade adventure to The Hunky Hubby for him to look at. I participated in a Pelican Book Group Meet the Author facebook Party. And I wrote six chapters of Spider Gap, a New Adult novel that features a first-year school teacher who is roped into chaperoning a backpacking trip over the Spider Gap glacier. Unfortunately, she cannot find a sitter for her purse dog and must smuggle him along on the trip. She discovers that all her friskiest 6th grade students are participating as well as the handsome ski instructor who resists her efforts to organize their trip in a mathematically pleasing manner. It has been quite fun to write so far.
