Writing News
This week I revised my NaNoWriMo project all the way through chapter twenty. Now I just have 13 chapters left to go. The problem, there are only a few days left in March. My goal was to get this manuscript revised again in March so that I could move on to revising the Christmas novella ms. in April and then submit the Christmas novella to my editor on May 1st and the NaNoWriMo ms. to an agent before she goes off to a bunch of conferences in May. I don’t actually have to pitch the NaNoWriMo project until May 15th at the conference, but I’ve taken a peek at this agent’s schedule and she is going to be very busy from May 8th through October. It would behoove me to pitch sometime in early May. So basically, May 1st is my deadline for both of these revisions. Let’s see if I can do it!
