The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Sweet Boy#2 got new glasses. The same week that they arrived, he ran into something on the playground and they fell off his head. He stepped on them and one of the arms broke off. I took them into the eye Doctor’s office. The secretary told us that they were toast and ordered another pair. She suggested duct tape until the new pair arrived. Luckily, Sweet Boy#2 received macaroni and cheese duct tape for Christmas which he was very pleased to wear on his glasses. The next week he was running on the playground at recess, tripped, and fell. His glasses broke right in half. I hope his new glasses come soon. We are running out of duct tape!
